Great Outdoor Communications with a VHF Radio System
Many businesses and agencies rely on two-way radio systems for a reliable and economical means of communication. There are dozens of uses for this sort of equipment including schools, college campuses, public safety and emergency personnel – such as fire and wildlife control, and businesses like warehouses and golf courses. In such environments the best choice in equipment would be a VHF radio system.
The frequencies in a VHF radio are at the “very high frequency” range, meaning that they will cross open spaces and terrain effectively. These frequencies however do not operate well within enclosed spaces such as buildings, which require a UHF system.
For these groups it is much more economical to rely on a VHF radio system, rather than cell phones and pagers. The company will only need to invest in equipment such as the hand held radio and holsters, and not worry about monthly fees or difficulty with continuous service.
